Archetypal Artwork and Design

The work of LazyPretty is a compendium of personal mythology encoded in an intuitive language of vivid color, crawling shadow, and metamorphosing symbols both popular and archetypal.

Based in Asheville NC, LazyPretty works in mixed media (ink, watercolor paint, and watercolor pencil) on bristol board. But once these pieces have been lovingly tended to their mortal fruition, LazyPretty creates digital copies of them and then tessellates these copies into kaleidoscopic portals and sacrilegious geometry.
